GoG's Better Bodies for Oblivion Remastered
Replace female bodies to give them a more feminine form and reveal nudity with intricate anatomy and textures.
Here is my first attempt at replacing the bodies in Oblivion Remastered. Each race has its distinct body mesh, so I'm tackling them one by one. The advantage of this approach is greater modular control over individual body types. I began with the Dark Elf Female, as that's my character. With the mesh complete and textures in place, I'm ready to move on to the other bodies soon.
**Warning:** There's a bug in this version. A fix is coming this weekend.
**What's Changed?**
I've made edits to remove underwear, add new topology to the mesh, and ensure vertex colors, weight painting, and UV maps remain intact. The new topology uses unused UV map space, which isn't aesthetically pleasing but gets the job done. The new textures are based on the original body textures in Substance Painter, with normal map, color, and roughness edited to match the new figure. The waist was slightly slimmed down, breasts enlarged, and nipples and genitals added (with chocolate starfish coming soon).
**Installation**
Currently, there's only one file for the Dark Elf Female. As I add more races, they will each have their own file. Once all races are complete, I'll offer an AIO (All-in-One) download option.
Download your desired version of the mod and extract the zip file. Take the three files (.pak, .utoc, .ucas) and navigate to your installed Oblivion Remastered directory. For the Steam version, it looks like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered
Go into the Oblivion Remastered folder within that root directory and navigate to:
Oblivion Remastered\Content\Paks
Inside the Paks directory, create a new folder named "~mods" and place the extracted files there.
This is where you'll put any mods that modify Oblivion Remastered's Unreal Engine components, such as graphics, models, and textures.
Enjoy!
