Installation:
unpack/unzip the zip file and put the "~mods" folder on the Pak folder of Silent Hill 2 > SHProto\Content\Paks\
if you dont know the location, right click on the game on Steam and click > browse local files. Then open the folders SHProto\Content\Paks mentioned above. Unzip and extract the folder (~mods) on the Paks folder

Black Floor Fix
The game has a problem with the black floor being raised in many areas. The reason for this is the Shadow Color Offset setting in the color grading options.

Improved Weapon Balance
Weapons in the game feel a bit weak in straight-up fights, which makes sense in this setting and encourages careful exploration. However, in certain situations like open combat with groups or later-game boss fights, it can be frustrating.
