Ever wonder if tossing a green bean into a washing machine could have the same effect as adding a rose? I thought so too. But no more!

Floral Detergent offers up to 25 unique combinations, each with its own distinct impact. From enhancing your mood to reducing negativity, these detergents can even boost your friendships. Legend has it that they might even offer an escape from death. The only way to know is to try them all and see for yourself!

Recommended - While not required, there are scents that interact with these packs. If you don't have all of them, don't worry! Scents will automatically be added based on the ones you do have:

### Step-by-Step Guide to Enjoying Laundry Day

**If you own Outdoor Retreat:**

1. Gather three flowers of your choice.
2. Head over to the stove and select "Extract Essential Oils."
3. Choose your desired scene, and your Sim will create a bottle of essential oil.

**If you don’t own Outdoor Retreat (or use the add-ons below):**

1. Select any computer and choose "Purchase Essential Oils."
2. Purchase the scent you prefer.

**Step 2: Obtaining Unscented Detergent**

1. Once you have the essential oil, select a washing machine or washtub.
2. Choose "Add Laundry Additive -> Purchase Detergent."
3. Purchase unscented detergent (or another scent if you have the add-on).

**Note:** This option is available only on washing machines with a Detergent Tray (see add-ons) or Laundry Additive Tray!

**Step 3: Mixing the Detergent**

1. Use unscented detergent directly and proceed to Step 4 if desired.
2. Otherwise, select unscented detergent from your Sim’s inventory and choose "Add Essential Oil."
3. Select the bottle of essential oil and add it to your Sim’s inventory.

**Step 4: Adding to the Wash**

1. Click on your washing machine or washtub (with a Detergent Tray or Laundry Additive Tray).
2. Choose "Add Laundry Additive -> Add Detergent" and select the detergent.
3. By default, a bottle of detergent lasts for 3 uses, with the optional HE Detergent Tray upgrade extending it to 4 uses.

**Step 5: Washing, Drying, and Enjoying!**

1. Load the detergent (either before or after adding dirty clothes).
2. Wash laundry as usual.
3. After your Sim puts away the dried laundry, the effects will start.
4. The buffs are triggered by changing clothes, and the quality of detergent used determines the likelihood of receiving them:
   - Excellent detergent: 75% chance
   - Normal detergent: 50% chance
   - Poor detergent: 25% chance

**Washing Machine Upgrades**

Two new upgrades are available to enhance your laundry experience:

1. **HE Detergent Tray:** This upgrade improves the detergent tray’s efficiency, allowing full bottles to last for 4 uses instead of the usual 3.
2. **Detergent Tank:** This addition provides a Detergent Tank, where you can store multiple bottles of the same scent and quality. This allows you to easily add your favorite scent to the wash later, without needing the bottle.

Optional Addons

There are a few extra addons you can include if you want to customize your experience!

• Addon: Detergent Tray: If you don’t want to deal with the handiness level required for a Laundry Additive Tray on a washing machine, this addon adds a purchasable Detergent tray to the upgrade menu. Costs 500 Simoleons, but allows Sims to use detergent in the washing machine. Will be replaced with the laundry additive tray if your Sim adds it later

• Addon: Buy T1 Oils: This addon adds a purchase option to computers to purchase only the tier 1 (mood types) essential oils directly (for more balanced gameplay).

• Addon: Buy All Oils: This addon adds a purchase option to computers to purchase all of the essential oils directly.

• Addon: Buy T1 Detergents: This addon adds the tier 1 (mood types) detergents to the Purchase Detergent option on washing machines/washtubs (for more balanced gameplay).

• Addon: Buy All Detergents: This addon adds all detergents to the Purchase Detergent option on washing machines/washtubs.

• Addon: Cheats: Mostly just used for debugging, this addon adds debug cheat interactions to washing machines, washtubs, dryers, clothes lines, detergent bottles, and Sims to cheat various values. Be cautious about changing values wildly, results may vary!
