SimpleChests Male 2.0 (22/06/2025)

SimpleChests 2.0 has arrived! This is the third installment in an anatomy update series aimed at enhancing shapes, textures, and flexibility across the entire SimpleGens family of body parts.

Please note: SimpleChests 2.0 doesn't replace SimpleChests 1.0. Your sims won't automatically switch to the new version.

While I generally appreciate the 1.0 chests, the 2.0 update introduces several key improvements and fixes.

**Features and Details:**

1. **Ten New Chest Shapes and Textures:** Standard, Inverted, Protruding, Triangular, Square, Slender, Toned, Bulky, Beefy, and Solid.
2. **Enhanced Animation Responses:** Improved weight adjustments and slot modifications to prevent odd chest appearances during animations or poses.
3. **New Color Overlays:** A fresh selection of 20 swatches available in the Simple 2.0 color range. These overlays, categorized as Upper Chest Moles, can be found in the Body Skin Details section of CAS.
4. **Streamlined CAS Interface:** All chest shapes are now consolidated under a single CAS catalogue thumbnail, making navigation more efficient and reducing clutter.
5. **NoTexture Add-on:** Perfect for tanning without tanlines. This optional file removes textures from chests, allowing you to use overlays for a seamless sunbathing experience. Overlays matching the default textures for all ten shapes are included.

**Installation Notes:**

Files are divided into required and optional folders:

- **simdulgence_SimpleChests2_Base (REQUIRED):** Contains all base male 2.0 chests.
- **simdulgence_SimpleChests2_Addon_NoTexture (OPTIONAL):** Removes textures to prevent tanlines, best used with the included texture overlays.
- **simdulgence_SimpleChests2_Addon_CASDefaultStandard (OPTIONAL):** Ensures the Standard version of 2.0 chests appears when removing upper clothing in CAS.

**Frequently Asked Questions:**

1. **Are these chests compatible with 1.0?**
   Absolutely. You can keep both versions in your game or replace 1.0 with 2.0.
2. **Are there female versions available?**
   Not yet, but a female version will be introduced in the future.

- **2025-06-22:** Separated the CAS default anatomy from the Base file. The new CAS Default is now a standalone package in the "2 - Optional" folder. Update your Base package and install the CAS Default if desired.
- **2024-09-02:** Fixed an issue causing "grey nipple" problems with certain CC chests. If you encounter flat nipples in your game, please let me know.
- **2024-08-25:** Removed clothing overrides from SimpleChests; they are now part of the BetterChests mod.
- **2024-08-21:** Made chests unavailable for werewolves; werewolf chests may be added later.
