Tactician Plus

This mod can be used to increase the difficulty of Tactician Mode by increasing the health of enemies, mainly for use with mods like Party Limit Begone.

Each mod increases the health of enemies by a set percentage (Tactician Mode has a default of 30% hp increase, +2 attack bonus, and a +2 bonus to Spell DC). As of right now the mod only increases hit points, because being hit more often, and missing more often isn't as much fun for me and has been working really well in my own play through, but this mod can be used to buff all enemies stats in almost any way built into the game.

If there is enough need, I can make extra presets, with additional increased difficulties with AC increases, stat increases, etc. This mod so far doesn't do much, but with some effort can possibly increase the difficulty in various ways. Feel free to modify this and do what you will with it.

All these files give extra (or less) HP only in Tactician Mode, along with the base +2 to attack rolls and +2 to Spell DC.

Tactician Plus with Scaling

Tactician Plus set at 100% with scaling based on the enemies Proficiency Bonus. Creatures get  bonus to AC, Spell DC, Attack Rolls,
and Saving Throws, that increases with their Proficiency Bonus based on their CR.This hasn't be largely tested, so it not work in all cases, but so far as I have been using it, it looks to work as advertised. I will not be adding 100000 different HP various of this version. If you want a different HP% download the LSLib Toolkit and extract the .pak to the original folder and modify the HP value and then repak it under the exact same name and it should work fine.

Bugs:

Currently the only reproducible "bug" that I can find is regarding polymorphed or shapeshifting enemies that shapeshift into combat. They dont fight at full health, but if at the very beginning of combat you go to your settings turn the game to balance (apply) then back to tactician, should "fix" the issue. But they get their full HP back, so any damage you did before starting combat would be erased. I'm looking in to it, but with the way polymorph works in the "rules" of the code, is confusing so far.

  Tactician Minus


Tactician Minus files reduce the HP increase from Tactician mode to 20%/10%/0%. So you keep the added AI behavior from Tactician Mode, but with less difficulty if you like an easier play through.

Misc.


Added extra mods in the Misc. area of the files page to remove the stat bonuses added to enemies on Tactician, but keeping extra HP percentages. Still makes the game harder, without missing every attack while the enemies never miss.

All these files give extra (or less) HP only in Tactician Mode, while removing the bonus to stats, but keeping all the AI and other changes that come with Tactician.

Installation

Install only one of the presets at a time using the BG3MM. Extract the file and import the .pak into the mod manager. Make sure you save and export your load order. This can be installed mid-game, as far as my testing has shown, but save a backup anyways. To install mid-game, just go into your settings and change the difficulty to normal, apply, then change the difficulty back to Tactician. To uninstall, just deactivate in the mod manager.
