Electricity Wind Power (A20)
Adding new power class and block for a modern windmill that produces energy day and night by wind power. Although wind is unpredictable, it still runs at around 50% capacity most of the time. Highly adviced to be used with a battery bank.
This mod is not EAC compatible, so you need to turn EAC off!
Otherwise it should work on linux and also via vortex mod manager.
Should also work for multiplayer, but hasn't been tested that well yet.
Wind speed is not linked to biome weather (yet), as I didn't see any way to get local weather per x/z position, specially if running as a dedicated server. For now the wind speed and direction is interpolated via perlin noise, which should be good enough. But it can mean that in edge cases your biome weather is extremely windy but the windmills are running very slowly. At least we also simulate a generic wind direction, which is IMO something the original game hasn't yet included.
Undead Legacy Support
This mod is compatible with Undead Legacy out of the box, e.g. no further compatibility patches are needed. But you will need to make sure that this mod loads after the regular Undead Legacy (UL) mods. You can e.g. accomplish this simply by renaming the folder to `ZElectricityWindPower`.
Darkness Falls Support
Version 0.3.1 has a first set of compatibility patches that are included automatically if Darkness Falls is detected and no folder rename needed. It adds a new "renewable energy" tech tree for players to unlock :)
