Disable overlap checkers (.dll and .lua variants)

Disables the overlap checkers that prevent you from building objects too close to each other.

Comes in dll and lua variants. You can install whichever one you want.

Installation for .dll variant

  • Optionally backup you save file.
  • If you have the xinput version of REUE4SS installed already then delete the file xinput1_3.dll from \Pal\Binaries\Win64.
  • Download Allow Asset Mods
  • If you have the xinput version installed already then all you need from Allow Asset Mods is UESS.dll and dwmapi.dll. Drop them in \Pal\Binaries\Win64.

Credits to noticemesempaii for pointing out that doing this with the default object works. This was actually one of the first things I tried but with the objects instances which didn't work.
