Introducing Dynamic Backpack Upgrades!
The only backpack upgrade mod that doesnt give a ♥♥♥♥ about what its upgrading.
EVERYTHING can be upgraded. you want to upgrade that TOOLBOX, you go right ahead. EVERYTHING can be upgraded. If it has a container then it can be upgraded!
except the key ring.. but we don't talk about that..

Each container item will now have 1 or 2 Upgrade Slots. Containers that can be worn on your back get 2 slots. all other containers get 1.
Apon reaching level 10 tailoring, you get the ability to add an additional upgrade to any bag you want. so tell your friends to HAND IT OVER so you can BEEF UP THEIR FAVORITE BACKPACK TO ABSURD GIGACHAD LEVELS OF AWESOMENESS.

You can craft or loot Capacity and/or Weight Reduction upgrades.
The cloth bag adds 10% + 1 capacity to the upgraded bag.
Denim bag adds 20% + 1
Leather adds 25% + 2
and Military adds 35% + 2
The math always rounds down, but it is affected by the Organized trait which can lead to some pretty absurd amounts of capacity for some bags (BRITAS)
ITS SO BIG YOU COULD FIT A HOUSE.

The cloth Straps increase Weight Reduction Effectiveness by 15% (meaning the contents of the bag will weigh 15% less than before)
Denim straps give a 25% bonus
Leather gives 35%
and Military gives a whooping 50% bonus. Meaning that it halves the missing weight reduction of the bag, or in number terms it means that the big hiking bag goes from 80% to 90% reduction.
ABSOLUTELY EPIC LEVELS OF WEIGHT REDUCTION.

in case you are completely absentminded and cant remember anything. all this info is available in game through tooltips on the items themselves.

You can craft up to leather upgrades with raw materials, Military upgrades can only be looted, but they can be transformed into the oposite type if you have level 10 tailoring.
You will need level 3 tailoring to craft cloth upgrades
level 5 tailoring to craft Denim upgrades
and level 7 tailoring to craft leather upgrades.

To add an upgrade to a backpack you will need a needle and at least 1 unit of thread.
to remove upgrades you will need a pair of scissors.

This mod is still pretty young so suggestions are appreciated, loot distribution tables are pretty rare for most items but they can spawn in a pretty wide range of items including nightstands, dressers, clothing stores, and obviously the military bases and police stations.
