Addon To Fix Major Game Balance Bugs

Mini add-on for the game STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl v 1.0006, the purpose of which is to correct the main errors in the balance of the game, with minimal impact on the game balance and appearance of the original.

Changes:

  • All suits have anti-bullet protection set up (in the original, contrary to the descriptions of the suits, the damage from bullets was reduced only in the exoskeleton and SKAT 9, the rest of the suits did not reduce the damage from bullets).
  • Reduced time-to-kill (time to kill) of stalkers by 4-7 times, to a still high, but more playable value.
  • The damage of SVD rifles, SVU and Gauss rifles has been increased by 2 times, for the possibility of one-shot in the chest of stalkers in medium-protection suits (in the original, the three-line cartridge did not one-shot anyone in the chest).
  • Increased damage to special pistol cartridges by 15-35% (in the original, they almost did not differ from ordinary ones).
  • In order to avoid an overabundance of ammunition, the number of cartridges in packs (and therefore) in caches and at merchants has been reduced - pistol, rifle and shot by half, machine guns by three times. The prices and weight of packs are reduced proportionally.
  • The cut pistols "Beretta 92", "Browning Hi-Power" and the shotgun "Toz 34" have been returned and added to merchants.
  • BM-16 cutoff accuracy reduced by 2 times (in the original it was the same as for other shotguns).
  • For all shotguns, the shot spread has been reduced by 1.5 times, and the increase in shot spread in motion has also been reduced (leading to a huge shot spread). Now most shotguns can compete with machine guns at a distance of up to 20m, and not just at close range.
  • The damage caused by a knife is reduced by 3-5 times (it was much higher than that of any firearm).
  • Significantly increased the psi damage inflicted by the phantoms of the Brain Scorcher (in the original it was insignificant).
  • The critical zone "head" with double damage was added to the main character (in the original, the hitbox of the GG's head was disabled, no damage was applied to it).
  • Added the ability to sprint in the exoskeleton.
  • Increased sounds from bullets hitting various surfaces (in the original they were very quiet).
  • Slightly reduced GG sprint speed.
  • Increased the accuracy of the NPCs and reduced the survivability of the main character at high levels of difficulty of the game.

Installation:

Put gamedata in the game folder. Starting a new game is not required.
