Radiophobia 3
About the project:
RadioPhobia is a mod that focuses mainly on combat realism and immersive gameplay. Among the main features are an updated arsenal of weapons, graphical improvements with fixes.
Game process
- The mod includes many new/edited quests, a new freeplay storyline and a lot of game features (some of which were disabled in previous versions as they didn't fit the general concept of the mod).
- The mod is based on the latest 64-bit OGSR engine. Graphic improvements, new DX11 renderer and many other features.
- Significantly improved stability and fixed many crashes.
- Complicated economy, ammo and consumables are now much harder to obtain.
- Added thirst.
- Weapons with realistic ballistics.
- Updated arsenal with higher quality models compared to version 2 of the mod, walking animation, swinging weapons while moving, PIP sights, various attachable sights for most weapons, zooming in sights has been added, weapons have a chance to explode when worn very heavily.
- New costumes, helmets / masks with their own slot.
- New items.
- Separate slots for all equipment (knife, binoculars, detector...).
- Ejection from AF3/AA2.
- Artifact hunting optimized - fully working artifact detectors (needed to find artifacts), containers for radioactive artifacts.
- Dynamic news.
- Companion NPCs.
- Transport with a working trunk.
- The battery of the flashlight is depleted and needs to be replaced periodically.
- The texture of the hands changes depending on the suit.
- First aid kits / bandages are not instantaneous, added sounds of using a weapon holster + animation.
- Updated mutant looting.
- Improved A-Life.
- Cut mutants have been added, as well as new variations of already familiar monsters.
- Dynamic generation of artifacts.
- The latest AI from Rulix.
- Ukrainian voices with additional English subtitles.
- Repair kits, merchants can also repair equipment.
- Sleep in designated areas like in CoP.
- The main character needs to sleep periodically so as not to fall asleep in the middle of the zone.
- Run speed rebalance.
- Additional tools for "developer mode".
- Possibility to throw away the backpack.
- Mod adapted to the extended Arena.
- Restored the capture of gg by the Bloodsucker.
Visuals and Sounds
- Almost all textures and sounds are replaced with high-quality analogs from AtmosFear and Absolute Nature from AA2, customizable color balance of vegetation (less dead compared to R2) while maintaining a desert atmosphere, the vegetation becomes deader the closer to the center of the Zone.
- HUD with shaded mask that comes off when eating/drinking.
- New shot/explosion particles.
- HUD effects for low health, stamina, etc.
- New custom HUD.
- NPC models ported to SoC from the Call of Chernobyl HD Models addon.
- Updated jump sounds.
Installation:
Unpack the mod archive into an empty folder (The patch from 03/14/2022 is already built into the repack) Unpack patch 1.08
into the game folder
