Travel to France in The Sims 4 / Romance In France Modpack

This mod transforms the world of Magnolia Promenade into a romantic getaway inspired by the city of lights, Paris.

Travel to a city for a romantic honeymoon, go shopping or just enjoy a great day on the street food market place. This project has been a solo-project, meaning there is no custom content coming with the pack. (There's plenty of great French inspired furniture on the Internet though!) The development time took about 3 months and wouldn't have been possible thanks to my patrons and help from some friends to make this mod a full experience!

Features:

  • completely revamped world with new skyscrapers, new eye candy in the landscape and an Eiffel tower that lights up at night!
  • adjusted map icon and new map view

Notes:

Required Packs: Get To Work, City Living, Discover University

Recommended Packs: Eco Lifestyle

The mod doesn't come with new lots, meaning you'll have to manually remove/replace the lots from Magnolia Promenade to get the full experience! The name of the world is still going to appear as "Magnolia Promenade", however there's tutorials on how to change that manually for each save on YouTube.

INSTALLATION:

1. Download ONE Version from down below and open the ZIP-File called "Romance In France Modpack"

2. Put the folder called "Romance In France" into your mods folder.

3. Open your installation folder of The Sims 4, within Origin. Usually it's something like " C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4"

4. Open the folder "DELTA", then "EP01", then "Worlds" and then "Areas"

5. Make a backup of your files in that folder and then place down and replace the old file called "EP01_Retails_01" (Note: With each update for The Sims 4 you will have to repeat this step as this file gets updated and replaced with each update.)

6. Boot up the game and enjoy!
