No Auto Change Channels  

Original version adopted from Scarlet.

Updates:

• 2023 July 23rd - Added the 2 new channels from Horse Ranch.
• 2023 March 25th - Added the 3 new channels from Grow Together, and added a previously missed interaction.
• 2021 June 8th - Updated and converted to a script to be more patch resistant and avoid conflicts. Please be aware that I also adjusted how the mod blocks the autonomous interactions, so if you notice it not working please let me know after you tested the mod by itself and cleared your localthumbcache. This also means that when you re-install delete the old package file and place this new script and package into your main mods folder, or only one sub-folder deep. Do not place them any deeper.

Original Description: Samantha is sitting there watching the cooking channel. Then, all of a sudden her roommate Joe sits down and changes the channel. This mod stops inconsiderate Sims like Joe from autonomously changing the TV channel. You can still direct them to change it though if you desire to control the inconsiderate Sim, no judgment here.

Note - This is not a typical "no autonomous" mod, so it cannot be prevented by using MCCC's Automation Scan or Scumbumbo's SCAM.

Requirements & Conflicts

Base game compatible. Should no longer cause any conflicts as this is a pure script mod, and also does not contribute to the script limit.
