Snap Shelves Override - Modern Contemporary Set  

This small but useful mod will replace the 14 modular cabinets that came with the Dream Interior playset. The author improved their appearance, added more polygons to objects, and edited all 224 textures, adding small highlights and shadows. Despite all the changes, the objects will not be marked as CC.

Alongside the CCs I'm preparing for this month, I'm working on some fixes for the items that came on Dream Home Decorator. They look very incomplete to me and the bluish tint the cabinet shaders have bothers me a lot.

The idea here is trying to not modify it too much, working with what Maxis gave us and making it even closer to other objects that are in the same pack.

To address the lack of detail, most of the changes were made on the main meshes and textures.

The file will override 14 items from the modern-contemporary set of snap shelves that came on Dream Home Decorator. I added a bit more polygons to the Models (between 4 and 20 polygons) and I edited all the 224 textures to add some small highlights and shadows.

In spite of all the changes, the game will not mark the objects as CC.

To solve the bluish tint, I investigated several solutions but the best one we have by now is the Luumia's NoBlu mod. Link to the download page bellow.

It's the best I can do with what we've got. Anything extra would mean recreating the objects from scratch and I feel like my time can be better used on new objects. :D

With these changes, I'm a bit happier with the items on the catalog.
