Miscarriage Chance & Abortion  

The Sims 4 miscarriage and abortion mod adds more realistic aspects of pregnancy to the game. Sims who are pregnant will now have a chance of miscarriage and the ability to have an abortion.

With this Mod it is possible for pregnant Sims to wake up with Cramps and Pain or when they are really tired and hungry (see more Info below).

If that happens you need to go to the Hospital with them (via the Phone, you can go alone or with your Signifcant Other)

There is still a small chance that your Sims will come Home and the Baby is ok but mostly they will come back with very Sad News. Both Outcomes will affect the whole Household.

Base Chance to get a Miscarriage:

1st Trimester

• Teen/Young Adult 1,5 %
• Adult 3 %
• Elder 4,5 %

2nd Trimester

• Teen/Young Adult 1.125 %
• Adult 2,25 %
• Elder 3,375 %

3rd Trimester

• Teen/Young Adult 0,75 %
• Adult 1,5 %
• Elder 2,25 %

The following ingame Buffs will multiplier the Miscarriage Chances. The “Red” Buffs can also trigger a Miscarriage.

Optional Addons

Add Unborn To Family Tree

Adds Babies to the Family Tree after a Miscarriage. They’ll be added with a random First Name & the deceased by Miscarriage Text. Be aware you can delete the Addon anytime so no more Babies will get added to Family Trees. If you delete the Miscarriage Mod itself Babies added to the Family Tree might vanish from it if the Game culls them & the Text “deceased by Miscarriage” will vanish as well. A huge Thanks (& Credit) to Deaderpool (MC Command Center Creator) who helped me with the Script Part of this Addon!

Death Chance

With this Addon it is possible for Sims who just had a Miscarriage to die.

Dying Chance (will not affect immortal Sims)

• Teen/Young Adult 1 %
• Adult 2 %
• Elder 3 %

Infertility Chance

With this Addon it is possible for Sims who just had a Miscarriage to become infertile.

7 Days Buff Addon:

Instead of 2 Days (Main Mod) the Sad/Happy Buff will be active for 7 Days!

Miscarriage Chance Very Low

Decreases the Base Chance above x0,25
(For example: Base Chance 1,5%, First Trimester x1, Elder x3, negative Buff Mulitplier x2 & x5 = 45% + Very Low Chance Addon x0,25 = 11,25%)

Miscarriage Chance Low Addon:

Increases the Base Chance above x2

Miscarriage Chance Middle Addon:

Increases the Base Chance above x4

Miscarriage Chance High Addon:

Increases the Base Chance above x6

Be aware if you install two or all three Miscarriage Chance Addons (low, middle & high) it will ignore the middle & high Addon and only regonize the Low Chance Addon!

Other Information:

• After a Miscarriage the Miscarriage Chance is blocked for 7 Days (unless you delete all Buffs)

Abortion 

With this Option you can send your pregnant Sims to the Hospital to get an Abortion! An Abortion costs 1.000$.

The Abortion Interaction is only available when your Sim is in 1st and 2nd Trimester.

Your Sims will get a “Feels Guilty” Buff or a “Feels Relieved” Buff if the have the “Hates Children” Trait.

Optional Addon:

7 Days Buff Addon:

Instead of 2 Days (Main Mod) the Sad/Happy Buff will be active for 7 Days!
