Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is an open-world action-adventure game set in New York City. Supervillains break free in the form of characters such as Mister Negative, Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture and Electro. But before tracking them down, Peter Parker contacts William Fisk. After he arrests a businessman, a gang war breaks out. Now only Spider-Man is able to stop the rampant crime in the city. Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered includes the City that Never Sleeps expansion pack.

The gameplay allows you to freely explore the openworld, represented by a whole metropolis. The main feature of the adventure is verticality. You can fly on a web between skyscrapers. The hero is able to climb walls and buildings. On the web, you can stick to various objects or use the environment for your own purposes. The combat system consists of attacks and counterattacks. Getting into timings, the protagonist reflects the blows of enemies and inflicts crushing damage on opponents. You can carry out combinations, use various superpowers of the Spider and use the interactive environment.

Role-playing elements are introduced. By defeating enemies and completing both primary and secondary tasks, Peter gains experience that must be spent on new skills. With the help of new movements, the list of combos is significantly increased, thereby making fights more effective. The arsenal of weapons consists of various Spider Gadgets. Various types of webs, various drones, bombs, etc. are available. As you progress, new costumes open. Some of them have additional properties. The story campaign consists of three episodes: Heist, Gang Wars and Silver Beam. The story features many familiar characters in Aunt May, Norman Osborn, Otto Octavius, Silver Sable, and Miles Morales.
