BG3 Fixed - Features work as intended

This mod come in 3 separate files:

  1. [F] BG3 Fixed - Fixes Only: The goal here is to fix some bugs to make ability, spells, etc to work as intended
  2. [P] BG3 Fixed - PnP Rules Only: Here, some tweaks to stick to D&D 5e PnP Rules
  3. [R] BG3 Fixed - Rebalance Only: Some tweaks to change OP or underpowered abilities

If you're using more than on of those files, load them in that order.

Feel free to suggest in the POSTS section but don”t bother to ask for any upgrade or things to make anything more powerfull.

Below, you can find every fixes and the file related (with [F][P] or [R] tag).

CLASSES


Barbarian

  • Global:
  1. [F] Reckless Attack can be used as a toggle (respec needed)
  2. [F] Rage should now only apply to attack made with Strength ability
  • Wildheart:
  1. [F] Wolf Heart now grant Advantage to summoned creatures (like Ranger Animal Companion)
  2. [F] Bear Totem Rage now correctly apply to offhand weapon damage

Bard

  • Valor:
  1. - [F] Bardic Combat Inspiration above level 5 is now removed as it should after being used
  • Lore:
  1. - [F] You can now choose your 3 skill proficiencies at level 3

Cleric

  • Knowledge:
  1. [F] The WISDOM version of Knowledge of the Ages now properly grant proficiency in Wisdom skills instead of Intelligence ones
  • Tempest:
  1. [F] Thunderbolt Strike is now using the reaction system, letting you choose if you want to push back enemies or not

Druid

  • Global:
  1. [F] Shapeshifted druids can now use their other abilities like Barbarian Rage, etc.. (but can’t cast spells)

Ranger

  • Global:
  1. [F] Multiclassing into Ranger now grant martial weapons proficiency as intended
  • Beastmaster:
  1. [P] Animal Companion HP is now based on your Ranger level 
  2. [F] Animal Companion now get bonus to profiency bonus to attack, AC and Damage right at level 3 instead of level 5
  3. [F] Animal Companion now get your profiency bonus to Saving Throw
  4. [F] Animal Companion doesn’t scare everyone around or trigger random fight anymore (except for spider because people are afraid of spiders !)

Sorcerer

  • Global:
  1. [P] Metamagic: Quickened Spell cost reduced to 2 sorcery points

Warlock

  • Global:
  1. [F] Pact of the Blade now works properly with PoleArm Master bonus attack, adding Charisma modifier to damage
  2. [P] Pact of the Blade ability named Thristing Blade no longer stack with other sources of extra attack
  3. [F] Hellish Rebuke now works correctly at high level
SPELLS
  • Global:
  1. [P] You can no longer cast 2 spells per turn (1 on Action and 1 another on Bonus Action). It’s still possible with Action Surge to cast 2 leveled spells or 2 cantrips. In one word, it’s like the PnP rule
  • Cantrips:
  1. [F] Mage Hand: Can now be cast more than one per short rest
  2. [F] Shillelagh: Now works properly on Polearm Master bonus attack damage
  • 1st Level:
  1. [R] Wet condition now give advantage on Lightning and Cold attacks instead of Vulnerability (and Disadvantage on Fire attacks instead of Resistance). 
  • 3rd Level:
  1. [P] Haste now only grant you those possible actions each turn: Attack (one weapon attack only, but with both weapons if you’re dual wielding to keep it competitive), Dash, Disengage or Hide by adding a new spell container with those specific actions while under haste. NPC should still use the Larian version. WIP for Elemental druid wildshape
FEATS
  • PoleArm Master:
  1. [F] PoleArm Master bonus attack should now get extra damages from GreatWeapon Master or Barbarian Rage
  2. [F] Sharpshooter now correctly apply -5 to hit with offhand hand crossbow

Changes the durations and prices of the potions in Baldur's Gate 3 to that of the source material, 5e PHB. An info.json file is now included. Works with BG3ModManager.exe and now hopefully all other mod mangers.
