BnP - Male Skin  

A semi-realistic, meticulously crafted high-quality skin texture replacer for males with insane attention to detail and characteristics based on Svein skin by talented Vobla. Parts of the textures are made from photoscans and 3D sculptures with hand drawn parts made with lots of love, care and consideration with realism and a touch of fantasy in mind. Most of the body normals are made by scratch in Blender, so you will find new body normals you have not seen before. You will also find a lot of microdetails on this skin, such as pores, wrinkles, spots, moles, freckles and vellus hair to resemble more like real skin. All parts of the male texture are covered, even Snow elves, afflicted and the complexions. We made this mod with compatibility in mind, so full support for SOS full, HIMBO, SOS light, TNG and SAM light bodies is available. Full support for RBT and RSV for SOS full/TNG/HIMBO full and standard replacer versions is also provided. Choose from 4k or 2k resolutions with BC7 compression for maximum quality.

The main files are meant to be installed first. Select from:

Replacer+Player textures:
The Replacer+Player main file versions works like any other skin mod i.e it replaces all male vanilla textures both for player and NPCs. During the installation you can select from:

• 15 different body/face skins.
• 13 different muscle types.
• 4 different shine on body.
• Young or older face types.
• 7 vampire face options.
• 5 schlong textures for SOS full.
• 3 schlong normals for SOS full.
• 2 Snow elf options.
• Makeup tintmasks.

RBT textures:
RBT gives all races, minus beasts, a unique body texture. Unique head textures will only work for the player. You have to export the NPC heads via CK to get the race head textures.We have already provided all the textures you need in order for easy installation of RBT. RSV textures:
Patch is availible here. RSV (Racial skin variance) like RBT gives all races, minus beasts, unique skins. It also affects non-playable races such as Dremora etc. It also gives the player unique skins apart from NPCs, so you can use whatever player skin you like. RSV affects NPCs through a standalone folder named RSV and the player's skin from the standard female/male folder. It can also distribute different arrangements of muscularity for each race depending on weight, if you choose. RSV also gives unique textures to the NPCs' faces through SPID. You also get extra skins such as Fantasy elves, Dremora etc for RSV. All textures have been made to fit each race characteristics as best as we see fit. This is the setup we have selected for all the races:

Imperial
A skin with a natural brown undertone, a quite hairy body and full of cuts and bruises. Skin is harsh and aging with light freckles. Have a toned medium muscled body.

Nord
A blushed skin with lighter body hair. The skin gets light frostnip and dryness while exposed to extreme cold. Have a body with lots of muscle that is perfect for a Dovahkiin.

Redguard
A darker skin with dark curly body hair. The skin is resistant to heavy sunlight and rarely gets burnt. Have lighter palms/feet and a strong boxer-inspired body with rock hard abs.

Altmer
Slight pale highlighted skin with a warm yellow undertone and no hair. The skin is fair and easily gets stretch marks if growing in length. Have a sporty body with just the right amount of muscle.

Dunmer
A cool undertone skin with a translucent feeling with slight stubble on chest. Here you see ribs and veins through a thin layer of skin. Have a skinny body with bumpy abs/spine and protruding blood vessels and bones.

Bosmer
A natural skin with no hair. The skin is sensitive to the sun and has lots of pretty freckles. Have a smooth body with little muscle.

Orsimer
A skin covered in dust and mud with heavy body hair. Skin is dirty from head to toe. Have extreme muscles that perfectly suit a warrior with heavy armor.

The optional files provides extra options to be installed after the main files. Select from:

Extra options:
Where you can select extra skins for the player to use (However will also affect NPCs if not using RSV). You can select between Dremora, Human vampire, Monster vampire, Elder, Snow elf, Akaviri, Fantasy (Orsimer, Dunmer, Altmer and Bosmer) and Clean skins. This option is only available for SOS full/HIMBO full because this file only makes sense for RSV.

BnP sk fix:
A completely black subsurface textures for those who have weird lightning lines on the skin.

Extra speculars for SOS full/HIMBO full:
You can select from glossy, matte and wet speculars for replacer and RBT version. These options is already included in SOS light and SAM light options.

BnP pubes resource:
xcf files for Gimp to add pubic hairs to the textures you want. Decompress textures through Paint.net or Photoshop. Save as BMP. Open xcf file and add your texture. Then overwrite your texture and save as dds with mipmaps.

The misc files provides different patches to be installed after main and optional files. Currently supports:

SAM light head normals:
Head normals with blended SAM light neck. This can be used together with SavrenX Schlong of SAM, most of SavrenX's body normals and SAM Light Texture Add-on. Make sure to first install the BnP SAM patch on Vectorplexis site.

DVA male patch:
Replaces the DVA textures with BnP head normals so you don't get neck seam while using DVA and BnP together.

💗 Installation

Install with a mod manager or manually drag and drop the files into the data folder. Finally make sure our mod win all conflicts by placing it as low as possible in your load order, i.e. after the conflicting mod. It is very important to read/follow the installation instructions, else you will get seams. For more detailed installation instructions and load order look at the sticky post in comments section.

If not using RBT or RSV, just install like any other skin mod. Install in this order:

1. Make sure to have a body mod such as SOS full, SOS lite or TNG.
2. Install HIMBO or HIMBO lite to avoid seams.
3. BnP male skin (Replacer+Player version).
4. BnP optional files. (If you install the extra options, both NPCs and player will get those
5. textures. Also remember the extra options is only for SOS full/TNG/HIMBO
6. full). The sk fix works for all the bodies if needed.
7. BnP misc files.
8. Update files.

For the RBT version, install in this order:

1. Make sure to have a body mod such as SOS full or TNG.
2. Install HIMBO to avoid seams.
3. BnP male skin (RBT version).
4. Install RBT + the SOS patch.
5. BnP optional files. (If you install the extra options, it will replace the Nord race textures).
6. BnP misc files.
7. Update files.

For RSV version, install in this order:

1. CBBE 3BA/BHUNP based body for female and SOS full/TNG for males.
2. Install HIMBO to avoid seams.
3. BnP female and male replacer skins. This will give you the unique player skin.
4. The extra options under BnP female/male skins optional files. (only if you want them for your player). Don't install the extra options if you don't want the extra skins for your player!
5. BnP RSV patch male and female. This will affect only the NPCs.
6. Update files for both the player (from the BnP female/male skins pages) and NPC skins from RSV patch.
7. The RSV core mod and its dependencies.
8. Racial Skin Variance (patches).

💗 Compatibility

Not compatible with COR but a patch is on its way. Also not compatible with vanilla body or better males. You will get a neck seam if mixing this skin with other skin mods. You cannot use more that one skin mod. We don't know if its compatible with other mods that add racial diversity beside RBT or RSV.

Compatible with all SOS based bodies such as HIMBO full, HIMBO lite, SOS full, TNG and SOS light.
