Expedition 1.2.1 Graphical Overhaul Addon For Anomaly 1.5.1

UPDATE 1.2.1 OPERATIONAL. EXPEDITION is a substantial graphical upgrade addon that utilizes both Reshade interface and engine upgrades to achieve a better visual look of the game. Comes pre-packed as a download-and-play version.

EXPEDITION is a hybrid Reshade / Software Rendering tweak addon that aims to improve the visual fidelity of Anomaly 1.5.1. It comes pre-packed with a customized Enhanced Shaders Framework, lighting, rendering and surface processing edits, weather tweaks, new effects, and much more. It is also available in a download-and-play state so you can forget about compatibility-induced CTDs, crashes, and conflicts. Simply install and dive into the game, no hassle.

BLACK SCREEN ISSUE:

Sometimes happens if you're installing Enhanced Shaders for the first time. Locate user.ltx in Anomaly/Appdata/. In user.ltx, locate these parameters

They will most likely have different values if you're experiencing the black screen. Adjust them to what's presented, save, launch the game. Deleting shader cache isn't necessary.

If you've had those parameters off, there's a chance you have more of them off. Make sure these ones are as follows (in the exact same user.ltx)

These are necessary for the correct tonemap and volumetric fog output. Yes, DOF means Depth of Field. Don't worry, X-Ray DOF is cheap. It's cheaper than the popular DepthHaze.fx for Reshade.

EXAGGERATED BRIGHTNESS OF EVERYTHING ISSUE:

It's a rare enhanced shaders bug encountered during development. Delete shaders_cache folder from Root/Appdata and replace with the identical folder from the zip.

RED CHANNEL GONE FROM VIEWPORT (EVERYTHING IS BLUE):

The game has compiled outdated shaders. Same solution as above. However it is a warning sign that the addon was not installed correctly. Please read the installation instructions again and see if you've done anything differently.
