Grok's Community Curated Add-ons List for Anomaly 1.5.1

A community curated add-on list referencing high quality add-ons with their conflicts. It should help you modding your Anomaly with ease.

Anomaly modding can be complicated, especially since browsing moddb is becoming harder and harder. Among the midst of add-ons uploaded everyday, some shine brighter than others. Some add-ons are worth mentionning and to be added to your game, others are very good, but depends on your personal preferences. You can also ask yourself if that old add-on will still work on the new version of Anomaly... Either you spend some time looking for add-ons, testing them, etc... on you download mod packs, which can be missing essential add-ons, or some that you would really like. Also, some add-ons have conflicts which are hard to track and solve.

To tackle these issues, I started scaffolding a spreadsheet with the help of the Anomaly modding community. It references high quality add-ons, their compatibility, their conflicts, short descriptions and if they are "mandatory" (improving base game features) or more down to "personal preferences" (some might like, others not). This table is available online and can be commented if you have suggestions at this address:

ADD-ONS INSTALLATION

Use MO2, a mod manager where you can keep add-ons zipped, so it's a bit easier a lighter to manage. There's a nice tutorial too available here:

MO2 might complains about Addon not formated correctly or sometimes you want to add patches included in the addon but MO2 don't detect them as BAIN installers, here's how you can fix that:

PARTICIPATION

If you have suggestions you can add comments on this moddb page, or you can directly add comments on the online spreadsheet. It can help to add new add-ons, correct conflicts, add notes about potential issues.

DOWNLOADING

Downloading the archive of this "add-on", which only contains a README file, can help the page to be more referenced, especially on moddb.

DISCLAIMER

My name is only in the "mod" title because I'm the current maintainer of that spreadsheet.
