Jorts and Jean the Helper Cats - New Custom NPCs v1.3.0  

Jean demands full rights for Joja workers! Jorts is stuck in a trashcan. Classic Jorts! They're cats, they talk, and now they're new custom NPCs in your game.

Official Merchandise* for Jorts and Jean! The cats of viral internet fame have come to Stardew Valley! They are giftable, friendable, have a plethora of things to say, cross-compatible with many other custom NPCs, and feature two events tied to the Reddit AITA post that started it all. If you follow JortsTheCat on Twitter, you'll also probably see some familiar lines too.  They will first start roaming after the Joja landslide is cleared but can be added to an in-progress game at any time.

UPDATE 1.1: Bugfixes + one new event + optional tweaks to two vanilla events!

UPDATE 1.2: Resort time! Jorts and Jean can now visit the Ginger Island resort if you have atravita's excellent Ginger Island Mainland Adjustments installed. It makes sure that the cats will visit the resort together (because Jorts should not be left on a scrungy island unattended) and gives them the option to explore the northern part of the island, with lots of new dialogue!  Also included: A new event with Vincent, and bugfixes/tweaks!  1.2.1 fixes a bug in the Linus event that freezes the event, despite the fact that it most certainly did *not* freeze during testing. Sigh.

UPDATE 1.3: Lots of new additions!  Jorts and Jean can now go to the movies, Ridgeside, and have three new events!  Plus a ton of additional compatibility with things like Mobile Phone and Wildflour's mods!  New special order with East Scarp!

EVENTS

Intro event: Enter town during the day after the landslide is removed.
Second event: When Jorts and Jean are both at four hearts, enter town between 4PM and midnight.
Side event: Year 2, enter town on Sunday between 6PM and midnight.
Side event: Three hearts with Jorts and Vincent, enter the town between 8AM and 6PM.
Side event: Jorts at eight hearts, enter the mountain after 8PM.
Union event 1: One heart with Jorts and Jean, enter town during the day.  If the CC is complete it will be presented as a flashback.
Union event 2: Six hearts with Jorts and Jean, have seen Shane's cliffside event, enter town during the day.  If the theater is already complete it will be presented as a flashback.

Also tweaks Linus's 1-heart event and Pierre's 6-heart event.

GIFT TASTES

Jorts and Jean are cats and their gift tastes reflect that, so their loves are about what you'd expect. They are pro-union and hate Joja products. This is to say I don't remember all the specifics and recommend Lookup Anything if you want more details. :D

Movies:
Jorts loves or likes all films.
Jean loves Natural Wonders, dislikes It Howls In The Rain, and likes all others.
 
For concessions, Jorts loves nachos and salmon burger, likes truffle popcorn and salted peanuts, and dislikes the rest (it's bad for cats).
Jean loves licorice (to play with, mostly) and salmon burger, likes truffle popcorn and salted peanuts, and dislikes the rest.
