Stardew Valley Mod Installation Guide

Introduction, Installing SMAPI

But before you can start installing most mods, you need to download and install SMAPI (Stardew Modding API). It will not be difficult to do this: Open the SMAPI page > Downloading the latest version > We are waiting for the download to complete.

The only thing left is: Extract the contents of the archive to a folder convenient for you> Find inside "install on Windows.bat" (Depending on your system, you will need different files :: install on Linux / Mac; But since I am a happy owner of Windows, I'll tell you on his example) ... run it.

Once the console has finished loading, type 1 into the command line and press Enter > Then SMAPI will ask you for the path to the Stardew Valley root folder: Copy, Paste, Enter (Steam Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common \Stardew Valley)

Installing the modification

Download any mod you like in our catalog. And then just transfer the files from the archive to the \Stardew Valley\Mods folder
