Operation Epsom, Operation Jupiter, Stalingrad in Normandy, Normandy Operation 1944
Three missions are offered for your Supreme Court: Operation Epsom, Operation Jupiter, and Stalingrad in Normandy.
In my opinion, the Normandy operation, the opening of the Second Front is very often associated by many, mainly with D-Day, the battle of Falaise, the offensive in the Ardennes, sometimes they also remember Bastogne.
The Normandy operation itself lasted 3 months and was divided into two stages: Operation Overlord (Neptune), which then turned into Operation Cobra. By themselves, these two large operations were also divided into small tactical operations, which, although sometimes lasting 3-4 days, also contributed to the defeat of the Germans on the Western Front.
Two such "small" operations are brought to your attention. Let them not confuse you with their small scale and short duration, in cruelty, ruthlessness, bloodshed they are not inferior to larger operations.
The maps of all missions are built under 512x512, on the perimeter this corresponds, more or less, to 10-12 km on the real terrain. The main goal was to give you the most accurate description of the battlefields (Odon Valley and Div Valley), every bridge, churches, railway stations, some houses and castles, roads, mills, etc. ...were staged in their historical locations.
Logistics will be of great importance, thanks to the gaming platform, RVG managed, as it seems to me, to bring to the Player all the burden, all the burden of responsibility that fell on the supply service. The corrections made to RWG FE helped realize all the tactical and technical advantages for the German side in the Epsom operation mission.
Yes, apparently, it should be noted specifically: Operation Epsom, you should start with it, is played ONLY on RWG 3.43, and Operation Jupiter and the mission Stalingrad in Normandy are ONLY on RWG FE !!
My request to the Players who play strictly on a national basis: and you just try it! Don't be embarrassed! Try your hand in the shoes of the enemy, test your strategic and tactical knowledge, your knowledge of the performance characteristics of the enemy. Perhaps you will like my work, and you will appreciate my work.
You can, of course, by typing popcorn to watch Saving Private Ryan, or the fake Fury, or the solid Brothers in Arms, or you can try to experience the fury of the attacks of the Scottish infantry and British tanks at Hill 112, survive and fight under the carpet bombing of the Americans, be able to throw off the proud Poles from their height 262 (yes, yes, yes, officially, after the war, France donated this piece of ITS land to Poland) and escape from the “Falaise Cauldron” and much more that the RWG gives us!
