The mod has been scaled down for stable gameplay, however new features are in development and releasing soon.  Missing features are planned to return.

Fashion Industry Mod adds a functional fashion brand you can run and manage into a successful business.

Getting Started

Give your Sim the Fashion Designer CAS trait found in the Lifestyle category.

Decide whether or not you want to run a regular law abiding fashion brand or a brand that breaks a few rules with shadow sweatshop running in the background.  You can also do both if you want.

Setup either type of business. Give them the custom venue type.

Include the High Fashion Sewing Machine in the build somewhere.  It can be on a table or desk.  You'll make clothes from this sewing machine.

-When you create clothing it'll happen instantly.  Check your inventory.

Purchase The Fashion Business

Common Issue
When trying to purchase the venue the interaction doesn't appear.  Ensure you've given a lot the custom venue before purchase.  If you can't find any custom venues with either Custom Venue List (Zerbu, or Basemental), set the venue to generic, and proceed without purchase.

Once a lot is purchased the next step is to hire Garment Workers.  With this version you will do this through a social interaction.  Create a specific garment worker in CAS or walk up to a random Sim.  You can hire them on the spot.

At your Fashion Brand, you start and end a work shift.  Starting the shift will spawn the workers you've created, ending the shift will force all Sims except the one your playing to leave.

Garment Workers will get coffee, use socials, and work on the computer.  

Sewing Supplies include Thread ($50), and Fabric ($1200).

Create Pattern - a required item to create a clothing shipment.

Fashion Research menu - several interactions for researching the fashion industry

Sew Clothing Shipment - from the sewing machine.  You'll need thread, fabric, and the sewing pattern to create a shipment.

Once you have a clothing shipment you can sell it from the computer.  Earning $7500 per sale.

Unlike many large and global mods for menstruation, this small mod will only affect those characters that you set a special trait to. During pregnancy, menstruation stops. You can change your pad or tampon by pressing the toilet paper.

This is a very simple trait which disallows/allows access to the breast slider for transgender Sims, while still retaining the female/male assigned sex. It is intended to more genuinely represent chest reconstruction and is available for Teens through Elder.
