Parks and Recreation Career
Did you know The Sims 2 Pets on console had a bunch of interesting careers? Neither did I! This is a conversion of the Parks and Recreation career from that game. I was able to find the levels, wages, and workhours in a guide, but the career descriptions were impossible to find. I ended up playing the game (on an emulator, which had some of the basic stuff not working), just to get to the top of this career. It was incredibly tedious and exhausting... I made it up to level 7 before giving up (mostly because of the friend requirement). So the descriptions for the last three levels are my own, which you'd probably notice due to the lack of imagination.

But it's a good stink, an honest stink - born from countless hours of backbreaking blue-collar labor. Long live the modern proletariat!
2. Groundskeeper

Objectives: Fitness 3, Gardening 2
Description: Your work with interpretative landscaping has caught the town's attention. Now folks come from all around to watch you reshape the park's lawns and trim its hedges with bonsai accuracy. And when the lunch whistle blows, you can sneak away for some quiet time in your very own shed of solitude.
3. Facilities Manager

Objectives: Logic 2, Gardening 3
Description: Who put chocolate syrup in the sprinkler system? As park facilities manager, it's your job to find out. It's also your job to scoop out that enormous hair clog from the public pool. Seriously, there have been a lot of complaints, and some kids have even started using it as a floatation device.
4. Volunteer Organizer

Objectives: Logic 3, Charisma 3
Description: Left to their own devices, park volunteers are a wistful and unfocused bunch. But with you organizing them, they become a non-paid force of efficiency. The secret is to make the work seem more fun than it really is, like when Tom Sawyer tricked his friends into whitewashing that fence for him.
5. Community Sports Coordinator

Objectives: Logic 4, Fitness 4
Description: Baseball and football are so passé. Today's athletes are looking for new challenges, and your sports program at the park is extreme, to say the least. Especially popular are your new bonfire competitions, which pit toddler against grandparent in a grueling test of strength and endurance.
6. Events Manager

Objectives: Logic 5, Charisma 4
Description: Events don't manage themselves, which is why you have this important job. Duties include scheduling parties, leading class field trips, and renting out the park's outdoor theater, where last year you amazed audiences with your gripping one-man performance of Romeo and Juliet.
7. Public Affairs Manager

Objectives: Logic 7, Charisma 5
Description: Your park has problems - rusty water fountains, broken swings, and a mean flock of geese that bullies everyone. But that doesn't mean you can't spin the park's image to something much more appealing. Just focus on the positives, however scarce they may be.
8. Horticulturist

Description: Your stint in public affairs did wonders for your park, but now it's about time to really make it shine. Armed with your scientific knowledge to cultivate and propagate plants, it's up to you to design a perfect park with lush, green gardens and recreational areas.
9. Naturalist

Description: With your park turned to perfection, your interest in ecology has grown. You've created an ecosystem of plants, birds, and trees living in harmony in your lavish plot of land. It's all about patterns of nature, and you love every bit of it!
10. Park Ranger

Better Ladders - Carry items & Climb faster
This tuning mod allows Sims to use ladders while carrying small items (books, dishes, trash bags, laundry, etc.). It also makes Sims climb roughly 50% faster. This value is a good compromise between speeding up the action and maintaining a realistic animation.
