Clash With Reality 1.1.7

Tired of the llama flu and those ugly body stripes? Want more realism so that your characters have chronic autoimmune diseases? Or making an appointment with a doctor to get your health in order? Maybe you want the characters to become more alive in the truest sense of the word, feel tired due to illness, or disappointment due to the fact that they have to change their usual way of life? How about drama, wondering how your character's partner would react to such a change in their lives?
Then be sure to try "Collision with reality"!

This mod enhances the realism in The Sims 4 by introducing an all-new disease system, sick and healthy Sim relationships, specialist appointments, skin care, and more.

The mod is divided into modules. It is with them that we will deal in more detail.

Chronic Diseases
- Sims can be diagnosed with 5 autoimmune diseases. Diagnosis is not automatic, for this you first need to visit your therapist by making an appointment with him using a computer.
- After the visit, the Sims will return with one of 5 types of chronic diseases:
- Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus
- Graves' Disease
- Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
- Lupus
- Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- You will receive a notification about what disease your character has been diagnosed with. From such a "surprise" he may be under shock, so expect new moodlets.
- Also, the character will show symptoms corresponding to a certain disease, but they can be avoided by taking medication prescribed by a doctor.
“After that, with the help of a computer, it will be possible to study your diseases, search for information about medicines, specialists, and communicate on sites on autoimmune diseases.

Medications and skin care
- Chronic conditions are controlled by medications that must be taken for life. Dry skin is a common side effect of chronic diseases, so regular skin care is a good way to deal with this problem.
- Sims will take medicine once a day. They will be notified when it is time to take their next medication. But do not forget that the medicine has side effects (up to 4 hours), they range from bad to good.
- Your character can also order a painkiller (ibuprofen), which will be used to relieve the general pain caused by the disease, unless of course you want to watch him suffer.
- And in the pharmacy, you can buy vitamins, and even healthy characters can buy them, but take them only once a day.
- Skin care includes body lotion, milk, hair oil, shower gel and face cream. When used, they give moodlets to the character, and sometimes even to everyone around.

Health system and psychological support
- Your character will have the opportunity to take care of their mental and physical health, as well as receive disability benefits.
- You are given a choice of various therapies that will reduce negativity, give positive emotions and much more:
- art therapy
- music therapy
- cognitive therapy
- wellness therapy
- The character will be able to make an appointment with various doctors, such as an endocrinologist, psychologist, rheumatologist or physiotherapist, take tests, sign up for x-rays and echography.
- Once diagnosed, your Sim can apply for disability benefits. It is available whether your character is working or not. The procedure takes about two days.

Relationships and support groups
— This module is responsible for the dynamics of relationships. If your character decides to share their diagnosis with another, they won't be sure how their partner will react to such a statement and whether they will be supportive. The reaction can be completely different, both support and mixed feelings. Each reaction will be followed by a moodlet that will show the result. After that, a new circular menu with more interactions will be available. Reactions depend on the character's values, what they want out of life, and how strong the relationship is.
- Once diagnosed, your Sim will find on their phone the option to visit an autoimmune disease support group. When Sims share a diagnosis with their partner, the partner will also be able to see support groups from their phone. Support groups help control negative emotions and also slightly reduce the intensity of negative moods. They are less effective than the therapy previously written about, but are also a cheaper option.

Cheats
With the help of cheats, you can change the disease of your character, remove it or immediately get a disability.
