VAMPIRES - Can Kill
The MOD requires the XML INJECTOR and Death Interactions
I was a "vampirism is fun" user for a very long time but I had some issue with that mod in the past, like sims dying from casual drink while that was not supposed to happen... Now that I'm more confident in making my own mods, I made my own version of this too.
What's different:
- I did not and will not make the interactions autonomous;
- I did not touch the states, Vampires and Humans have the same gain and loss in hunger, energy etc as they have in the game;
- I totally removed the drama node, meaning the sms you get when you're supposed to be caught drinking blood, that happens even if you're drinking with permission from a Sim in your basement (who the fuck told you, Marcus Flex?! The spiders?!!)
- Deep Drink: will not always kill, but has the chance to if: the energy drops below -100 or the sim has been recently drank from
- Small Drink: NEVER kills the target unless they've been drank from recently
- Drink Uncontrollably: will always kills. Made also user directed, it will appear when the vampire is thirsty.
- Drink with permission never kills the target
- New Option: Ask to Drink from Neck
- Special moods and effects: for drinking blood from different occult types.
- Optional: no limit drinks, drink from other vampires, manipulate life spirit rework
MANIPULATE LIFE SPIRIT REWORK:
I reworked how the manipulate life spirit power works, since it did nothing in the game at all. Manipulate Life Spirit now turns a Sim into Cattle.
Cattle have a special bar that shows their life force, once a sim is a cattle, draining the life force and restoring it will consume this bar. Now, the more you drain it, the more the cattle will lose the sense of self... they will start to lose memories, they will start to lose humanity, and they will start to lose weight. Drinking from a Cattle will consume them slowly, but will make the vampire (and the cattle) very happy.
Cattles also have a dependent relationship with the Master, if left alone for too long, they'll start to feel sad, and the life force will start to go down. As long as they stay around the master, though, they'll be happy. and will have various reciprocal bonus.
Spellcasters can't be turned into Cattle right away, they need to be knocked down by draining the life spirit once, and after that, they need to have their magical power removed:

The Master: using the free cattle power (not restore life spirit)
Another Vampire: using Restore life spirit.
There is an in-game book with explanations on how cattle work.
INSTRUCTIONS
The mod is separated in modules:
- You NEED the MAIN file
- choose ONE version of the Night Time Drink
- choose the ADDONS you want (Optional)
- choose ONE version of limitless drinks (Optional)
- instal the STRINGS or the mod will have no text (Required)
The mod Zero_Tweaks_Vampires_ScaredByVampires is now included into this one so you don't need both files anymore, but the small tweak stays separated for people who don't want this full mod.
Some NPCs like Bartenders, Market Stall Vendors and other special roles have motives LOCKED, meaning that they'll not die from energy dropping too low. Also, most NPCs are pushed to go away when their motives are too low, so they may survive.
NOT compatible with Vampirism is Fun mod.
