Bloodlines Unleashed
Have you ever wanted your witch's bloodline to have a more tangible effect? Earning more XP is great but not very noticeable. Overload protection is awesome, but a wise witch wouldn't get close to overloading in the first place (Curse of Uncontrollable Charge notwithstanding). As all bloodlines get the same talent point reward, how then to mark your fourth generation witch as the descendant of awesome power that they truly are?
I have set out to rectify this egregious miscalculation. Now your sim's bloodline will have a truly profound effect on their progress as a magical powerhouse. For those with a weak bloodline there is no change. For strong bloodlines your witch gains an additional talent point per rank increase, and ancient bloodlines receive an additional 2 talent points. No other benefits have changed.
This translates to 10 points from Apprentice to Virtuoso for Newly ascended practitioners, 15 points for those with a weak bloodline, 20 points for a strong bloodline, and 25 points for an ancient bloodline. The stronger the bloodline, the quicker it is to master true power.
But true power should not come easily, or cheaply. As an add on, I have included a new perk cost structure to balance out the increase of talent points. Instead of only costing one point no matter the perk, now the cost is based on the tier of the perk, progressively increasing for every higher tier the perk is in. The add-on is separate because it directly interferes with Zero's Perks Cost More mod. This way you can enjoy the benefits of unleashing your sim's bloodline without conflicting with other mods. It is highly recommended that you use one of the add-ons here or Zero's mod.
