NPC Tool v1.5

New Features in 1.5
Redesigned workfow: Select a tool option (Shapeshift, Shapeshift NPC to Tav, Spawn Companion, etc), select an NPC and it activates from the list.
Added shapeshift rules: Now you have control over name, icon and spells when shapeshifting.
Favourites list: Copy NPCs from the list and paste in the Favourites list to make it easier to access frequently used NPCs.
Visual Effects: Change your size, set yourself on fire, or add weapon effects.
Custom Companions: Combat enabled Mizora as an example, create custom companion spawns with specified appearance and weapons. (Advanced, video guide to follow)

IMPORTANT: Requires Cheat Engine 7.5

Cheat Engine can be downloaded from https://www.cheatengine.org/downloads.php

If you are installing Cheat Engine for the first time, pay attention to the installation dialog. Some users have complained about it installing other software, so on each page click Decline instead of Accept or Skip All and you should be fine. It may also trigger your AV, because AV software is suspicious of software that reads and modifies memory.

Can be used as  a stand-alone table, or imported into Zanzer's BG3 table found here: https://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13996

Note: Not all NPCs and appearances will work in every zone. Some require you to be in certain zones to work.

Special thanks to Zanzer for allowing the use of his cheat engine scripts in this table, and Evenless for his tutorial on unpacking the game's assets.

How To Use

1. Load the table in Cheat Engine.

2. Launch the game and load a save game.

3. Alt-tab back to Cheat Engine, and select File -> Open Process. Select Baldurs Gate 3 from the list and click open.  Click yes to keep the current address list.

4. Click Enable when in-game then NPC Tool.

ShapeShift lets you change the appearance of a party member. Select the party member then select the appearance. Click it again to revert. Select the next party member, rinse and repeat.

Spawn Static NPC lets you spawn an NPC that will just stand there. They seem to be persistent between saves, so be aware they might be where you spawn them permanently.

Debug Companions lets you spawn a functional character. You can interact with them as long as you haven't killed them and changed the default game flags used by the engine to determine what interactions are available. For example, if you spawn Minthara at the start you can talk to her. If you spawn her after you have killed her, she won't interact other than the occasional comment at certain points in the game. This is not a bug, it's how the game engine determines what dialog is available based on what you have done. To remove them you can either click them again if you have just spawned them, or click their ShowHide if it is some time after.

Spawn NPC as Companion is experimental. Some of them work, some don't. Be warned, you will get crashes using this section and the only way to remove them is to reload. If you bork your save game, it's on you.

Adds new faces to the character editor. It does not replace the default character heads, but adds new ones. For the mod to work correctly, you need to set the Animation LOD Detail option to High in the game settings.
