Majestic WeatherFX (aka MWFX)  

What's included

• Replacements for every weather in anomaly
• New cubemaps for better gun reflections
• Some reshade presets
• Custom settings for screenspace shaders
• My settings for lighting and grass

Some things to keep in mind

• Backup your current reshade files/user.ltx before installing this in case you don't like the mod
• This is for dx11 only
• I designed this with maximum playability in mind so if you find any issues or oversights please let me know
• Minimum requirement would probably be a gtx 1060 or an rx 580 but you can run it on older hardware by disabling SSS, deleting mods\Majestic Weatherfx - Main\gamedata\shaders and using reshade's ambient occlusion instead.
• If you have any suggestions leave it in the comments I'm always open to new ideas

• Nicer reflections (cubemaps) for enhanced shaders

Installation

If you're updating make sure you remove any previous versions

1. First make sure you have a portable instance of mod organizer 2 working, optionally you can also read Starcrys mo2 guide to learn more about it

2. Download the following mods:
Beef's nvgs
Enhanced shaders
Screenspace shaders
Majestic Weatherfx

3. Unpack the following files from the mods you downloaded to mod organizer's mod folder (mo2\mods):
-Beef's NVGs
-Beef's NVGs - Patch (Only ES No SSR)
-01 Enhanced Shaders - PBR
-02 Enhanced Color Grading
-Optional - Corrected Cubemaps
-00 - MAIN FILE
-00 - MAIN FILE - Patch ( ES & Beefs_NVGs )
-01 - SSDO
-02 - SSS
-03 - SSR
-04 - SSR Water
-Majestic Weatherfx - Main
-Whichever optionals you want from Majestic

4. Open mod organizer and assemble the mods at the bottom of your load order like this:

If you're playing EFP 3.0 or another modpack that uses Soundscape Overhaul make sure you install the patch I made for it

If you want puddles load 05 - Rain Puddles after 04 - SSR Water and use one of the modded exes that comes with the screenspace shaders zip file

5. Unpack the contents of the folder "Reshade files" that comes with my mod to Anomaly\bin

6. Now open your game, clear the shader cache in the launcher, open your console (should be the tilde key above tab) and type the following command:

cfg_load majestic

7. (OPTIONAL) For my grass settings open your console again and type:

cfg_load grass_performance

OR if you really want grass shadows (pointless as SSS already has better ones), instead type:

cfg_load grass

8. Restart your game and enjoy

Additional Notes

• You can open the reshade menu by pressing the home key on your keyboard, there you can switch presets by clicking on Majestic - Clean and picking whichever one you want
• You can tweak the game's brightness with r2_tonemap_middlegray (default is 1.5)
• If your detectors have transparent screens or the text is hard to read try installing this mod
• Probably don't install other shader mods unless you know what you're doing
