The mission tells of heavy fighting in the first weeks of the war. July 1941. Not far from Smolensk. The retreating units of the Red Army approached the village, where, according to their information, they should receive ammunition, fuel and food.

The mission is not historical, but it fully reflects the picture that has developed in the African theater of war: the Axis countries are defeated and only the courage and heroism of individual officers make it possible to restrain the rapid advance of the Allies

For the offensive in April 1945 in the Berlin direction, the Soviet command concentrated 19 combined arms (including 2 Polish), 4 tank and 4 air armies (2.5 million people, 41600 guns and mortars, 6250 tanks and self-propelled artillery installations, 7500 aircraft).
