Sudden Strike Network Mod 2.0 (SSNM 2.0)
In our opinion, the most perfect mod for Sudden Strike 2:
Visual revision, breathtaking sound (1100 new sound effects), selection of units never seen before, including units from 14-18 and Italian, Polish and French armies worthy of the name (for example, more than 10 different French tanks): Renault, S2, Somua, B1 etc.). And just for fun, try testing out the giant Me 323 transport plane, capable of loading and parachuting fifty paraples, which is impressive. The gameplay has been greatly improved, especially with the new shooting range game.
Installation:
Install Sudden Strike 2 properly, with patch 2.2 like this.
Download SSNM 2.0 (162 MB)
Then run the "SSNM2.0_Setup.exe" file by double-clicking on it and selecting the "Sudden Strike 2" folder as the installation directory.
There are about ten new units for each nation, such as the German Mouse (huge tank), trenches, Object 103 Russians, Corsair F4-U, Sexton, some kind of French Renault, mortar. Karl, commander of artillery and even parts of the First World War.
Oh yes, there is also the return of some Sudden Strike units for good. We have a choice!
Many players were terribly disappointed with the surprise hit 2 . Indeed, compared to Sudden Impact Forever, the second installment of the series operates with what can be described as a "terrible regression" in its graphics, including decor and variety. Indeed, there are only two environments: Summer and Jungle (called "Asia"). It has become necessary for players to seek their salvation in various mods that enrich the base game and give it a second youth.
In particular, SSNM 2.0 attempts to compensate for this graphical loss. The time spent laying snow to pieces against a backdrop of desperately summery decor is over: 16 new theaters of war are available, a sacred performance that equals "nearly" Hidden Stroke 2's offline pay performance.

Know that in the main environments there are variants of "WW1" (First World War, i.e. World War I) containing the famous units of the time 1914-1918 mod.
You can directly and visually see the changes of this mod by downloading the special simple missions contained in the corresponding section below. Thanks to the great work of all the mappers, this mod now has a massive amount of compatible maps that never run out of... ammo.
