Wicked Whims Body Selector

Body Selector is a core functionality of WickedWhims that allows users to select body parts Sims will use. Any creator is capable of adding their body mods to be selectable within the Body Selector, and any user can select anything on any Sim they want.

CLICK ON ANY SIM AND GO TO WICKED -> PERSONALIZATION -> BODY SELECTOR

BODY SELECTOR DEFAULT OPTIONS

WickedWhims comes with a set of default options which aim to match the game looks as much as possible, these are the Default options. Any mod that does not support the Body Selector, but is a Native Override (Default Replacement) can be used by selecting the Native option.

DEFAULT OPTION

Selecting ‘Default’ for any body part inside of the Body Selector menu will result in applying of the default WickedWhims body part. These parts are generally not overridden by other Mods to offer the default option.

Note that although it’s not common, mod creators are able and allowed to override the WickedWhims defaults.

NATIVE OPTION

Selecting ‘Native’ for any body part inside of the Body Selector menu will results in applying of the original (made by Maxis/EA) body part, that is by default overridden by WickedWhims and will display as the WickedWhims default.

Any mods that are a “Override” or a “Default Replacement” will automatically take place of the ‘Native’ option. You want to use the ‘Native’ option when a mod is not directly supported by the Body Selector but comes as a “Override” or a “Default Replacement”.

Only one “Override” or “Default Replacement” is possible to be used at the same time. The game only comes with one possible body part per type for a Sim. To use more, you are required to use the Body Selector system that extends the body options for Sims.

THIS SIM BODY SELECTOR

This Sim Body Selector modifies the body of the clicked Sim. Any changes done to that Sim will override the All Sims Body Selector and Random Sims Body Selector effects. The parts that can be changed depend on the Sim CAS Gender Settings.

ALL SIMS BODY SELECTOR

All Sims Body Selector modifies bodies of every Sim in the world that matches the CAS Gender Settings of the clicked Sim. For example, when opening the All Sims Body Selector by clicking on a female Sim, only female Sims will be affected by what is changed inside of the All Sims Body Selector.

Every new Sim that is added to the world will follow what is set inside of the All Sims Body Selector.

RANDOM SIMS BODY SELECTOR

Random Sims Body Selector modifies bodies of randomly picked Sims in the world that matches the CAS Gender Settings of the clicked Sim. For example, when opening the Random Sims Body Selector by clicking on a female Sim, only female Sims will be affected by what is changed inside of the Random Sims Body Selector.

Selecting a random body part multiple times will increase the number of Sims that have this part applied. Any changes done with the Random Sims Body Selector will override the Al Sims Body Selector effects.
