Science Baby Overhaul
The mod does three things differently to the original science babies.
1. Sims now have the option to either have a Science Baby through pregnancy or through Laboratory
2. Sims will go to the hospital for a short visit to provide their genetic material for both Science Lab babies. If they chose pregnancy, they will also need to go to the hospital for a short time for insemination.
3. After providing genetic material or being inseminated, Sims will have to wait three days (or for pregnancy the period of time of a normal pregnancy in your game) until their Science Lab baby is ready to leave the hospital. They will be pushed to go pick up the Science Lab baby. While waiting for those three days, they and their partner (if they chose to have a baby with someone else) will get occasional moodlets related to the baby based on their traits and RPO pregnancy preferences.
Note: If your Sim misses the popup and only gets a notification, you can click on them for up to six hours after the notification to send them to have the baby manually.

Woohoo Autonomy Tweaks
In The Sims 4, the woohoo interaction is supposed to be automatic, but it never happens. This mod solves that problem.

What can I say, the babies in Sims 4 were very deprived: they have neither character, nor temperament, nor special interactions, but simply lie in the cradle and only occasionally remind themselves of themselves by screaming and dirtying diapers.
