ALL - Historical Mods by Zero

- With EL you can make candles, they work without grinding and can be used to light up the house. This is great for historical saves, but the duration of the candles was too short. I doubled their lifetime. LMSSam has a mod that allows you to create candles faster.

- Forced vacuuming when you're over 5 years old in gardening was killing gardening for me, so I re-enabled the ability to manually remove weeds along with vacuuming. select Weed to do it manually, Weed All to use a vacuum. This mod is incompatible with Kids Can Garden by FerdianaSims. I originally wanted to make a compatible version, but when I opened this mod I found it was outdated (sims won't get lifestyle progress) and because it overrides all garden interactions, I couldn't update it myself. If the mod is updated, I will make a compatible version.

- No fire insurance: no money is given out when something is on fire

- Gardening plot features: 3 plot features to make gardening more challenging.

1. Crops rot - causes random crop failure around your plot, plants die straight up.
2. Infertile soil - dries out plants and increases the need for water.
3. Bug Zone - Insects will infest your plants very often.

Note: All traits are activated at midnight, so this can cause performance issues and delays if you have a lot of plants. I don't advise using 3 together, but they are not blocked.

- Dirty dash can cause sickness if you want to create a real Victorian workhouse

Dickens' Deadly Diseases
This requires a utility - Death Interactions (updated for this mod) and an XML injector .

4 deadly diseases typical of the Victorian era that your Sims can contract:

  • Typhoid fever: caused by poor hygiene
  • Tuberculosis: caused by the common cold
  • Scarlet fever: Children are more likely to get this fever caused by a cold.
  • Cholera: Caused by eating in well-groomed areas.

Typhoid fever, scarlet fever and tuberculosis are contagious, they are asymptomatic for the first 12 hours, but they can already pass. ALL DISEASES, IF NOT TREATED, IS DEADLY!

Your Sims are more likely to get sick if they are weakened by hunger or tired. If they are well taken care of, you shouldn't have any problems.

Treatment: If you play a historical rescue, you can brew a new potion with herbalism skill (+6) to try and cure the disease, it doesn't guarantee you will defeat it, but it gives your sim a boost. body... you still have to wait and see. If the disease has already gone too far, the potion will not work (starting from the second buff). Your Sims can also heal themselves, but this should be rare. If you want to be sure to cure the disease, you can purchase the vaccine on the computer. The vaccine gives you immunity from all diseases in the mod. Scarlet fever can only be contracted once... if your Sim gets it and survives, they won't be able to get it again. There are no medicines for babies, but they are more likely to cope with ailments on their own. Same with NPCs (but they can start a pandemic).

This mod conflicts with LMSSam more herbalism potions , it's already built to work with it, to have both this mod and her potions you need to put this in the overrides folder.

This mod is mostly in testing phase.
