Leak: Sumeru's reputation system in Genshin Impact

The game world of Genshin Impact is about to expand with Update 3.0 introducing a new region to Teyvat, Sumeru. The update is already available to testers, thanks to leaks we know quite a lot about it - for example, the device of the Sumeru reputation system.

Players are offered several ways to increase their reputation:

• Eliminate specific targets. The target must be killed quickly, otherwise it will fly away and the hunt will have to start from the beginning. New targets open on Mondays.
• Fulfillment of various requests of the Academy. New requests open weekly.
• Research of the region. There are rewards for researching 20%, 40% and 60% of the region.
• Completing tasks for Sumeru. There are 23 tasks in total in the region.

Players will earn a variety of rewards as they gain experience and level up their reputation. When reputation in Sumeru reaches its maximum, reputation experience will stop.

Reputation rewards in Sumeru include recipes, blueprints for personal world items, name cards, and a glider, which is earned by reaching level 10.

Update 3.0 for Genshin Impact will be released at the end of August.
