FAQ:
Q: CAN I PLAY WITH A FRIEND?
A: Yes, you can. For details, read this article - https://vk.com/@za_complete-kooperativ
Q: WILL THERE BE A PORT OF ZA ON ANDROID OR iOS?
Oh no.
Q: WHAT ARE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR ZA?
A: The minimum requirement is a four-thread i3-i5 processor, or AMD FX, or any Ryzen with frequencies NOT LESS THAN 3.0 GHZ. 4 GB RAM. OS - minimum Windows 7. 14 GB of free disk space.
Q: WHY DO LAMP POSTS AND TRAFFIC LIGHTS “WORK” IF THERE IS “NO LIGHT”?
A: Firstly, it is clearly visible that the lampposts barely work and constantly flicker, which hints that there is electricity, but it is extremely unstable, intermittent, all this is explained in the lore. Secondly, we would love to remove all the light in the game, but this is impossible. All remaining light in buildings is sealed into the prelight model; editing an existing prelight is impossible because it is sealed into the model irrevocably.
Q: WHY DOES THE ORIGINAL SA WORK FOR ME, BUT ZA LAYS?
A: This is due to the fact that the implementation of everything in ZA on the SA scripting engine loads ONE single computational THREAD of the engine so that if ONE CPU CORE is not powerful enough, the game has no resources left for drawing frames. First, we advise you to check the system requirements of the modification.
Q: HOW CAN I INCREASE FPS AT LEAST A Slightly?
A: If you still want to try to run it on weaker hardware\you are experiencing performance problems, you can try reducing the draw distance in the launcher and in the game to a minimum, try setting the priority level to either “High” or “Real Time” via F9, turn off "PostFX" and "Skybox" in the launcher, in additional settings enable the original distance .IDE and .COL.
