Umbrellord's HD Mutant Models (Update 3 - 15/02/22)
The aim of this mod is to upscale/improve/edit/fix the default mutant meshes.
This mod provides upscaled models for "vanilla" mutants with geometry edits and other fixes. (See pictures below for examples). It does not provide anything like upscaled textures etc. so the effects in game may only appear subtle.
This is still WIP and requires testing
I have tested this on a modded and vanilla copy of anomaly and all appears to be working as desired. I now require useful feedback and suggestions from the community.

- Flesh with ears (Flesh_3 - Ballache. May or may not include)
Any other mutants will not be touched either due to them being unused assets or they don't really need work (i.e. lurker). The plans for this mod may change depending on what anomaly 1.6 brings to the table.
Plans for the future
- UV edits have already started and will hopefully cover all of the mutants with issues in the near future
- Skeletal edits/fixes
- May add upscaled 4K textures (gigapixel) as an optional file if there is enough demand for it.
- May add the other unused mutant models (spawned through mods) if there is enough demand for it.
Installation
- Simply unzip and move the db folder into your anomaly root directory
OR
- Copy the HDMutants.db0 into your db/mods folder.
OR
- Use your favourite mod loader.
Compatibility/Notes
- Should be compatible with everything that doesn't edit mutant meshes.
- No new game required.
- Remove after manual install: just delete the HDMutants.db0 from your db/mods folder. There will be no residual issues.
- Object detail is recommended at 1.5 for the full enhancement effect.
- Increases poly count x4 in most cases so not recommended for potato's. (This is not as taxing as HD NPC models however).
I recommend checking out Blackgrowl's fixed vanilla models & textures as a great accompaniment to this mod!

- Added controller_404 as he spawns in vanilla. New mesh in places and lots of UV edits. Still more UV work to do.
- Added Psysuckers (no upscale as he is detailed enough, just mesh fixes)

- Added zombie_blind (psy/ghoul) as he spawns in vanilla
