Iran-Iraq War: First Gulf War 1.02
The idea of creating this project was to reveal the theme of the Iran-Iraq war of 1980-1988. Unfortunately, this conflict is poorly disclosed and voiced in Russian historical literature. Accurate figures and facts can be found mainly in Western sources. Although of all the local wars of the 20th century, the Iran-Iraq war can be distinguished both in terms of the scale of the hostilities that took place, and in the number of participating forces of personnel and pieces of equipment, as well as in the duration of hostilities. It is often compared to the First World War due to bloody positional battles, with minimal strategic and tactical successes, and the use of chemical weapons on a large scale.
A-mod (anti-terror mod) was taken as a basis and thoroughly redesigned. It already had new sounds, graphics and units. Under his influence, the work began. To be honest, the desire to ennoble "VvZ" and "BchZ" was a long time ago, but here I successfully turned up from the dusty shelves of the A-mod.
What's new to expect? These are the sounds of shots, the replicas of the infantry (they now speak normally), the noise of equipment. Various animations have been added. The game balance has been reworked to increase the dynamics of the battle. Revised vehicle armor, striking characteristics of guns and missiles. Infantry is divided into lines with personal, unique characteristics. Added new historical units for both sides. Updated graphics for vehicles, aviation and infantry, which have never been seen before in mods.
A unique feature of the mod and the main idea of the project is the transfer of the original companies and missions from "VVZ" and "BCHZ", with the appropriate changes to the balance and units. You can go through your favorite missions again in new realities with new colors!
To standardize maps and simplify the creation of missions, a desert scheme (DESERT) from MVM2 (MVM3) has been added to the Iran-Iraq War mod. Saved, and the original scheme (IRAQ) from VvZ / BchZ.
At the moment, the graphics of two / third units have been replaced, but work continues. Also new units are expected in future versions.
The authors of the project are Nordleng and Delandel.
Many thanks to the creators of "A-moda" for the basis and inspiration!
Our mod uses resources from various modern projects, for which many thanks to their authors!
Standalone format mod, completely independent game and does not require installation and availability of VvZ and BchZ.
Download->Install->Play.
Missions from the original VvZ and BchZ games will not work! Maps open in the editor without problems.
