Willow Creek - The Clock Mall
This build was a PAIN! I wanted to have a daytime version of the Night District but I didn't want yet another street, so I thought of an old fort/castle/whatevs that was refurbished into a mall. This totally fit in with my idea of using platforms to have the sims go up and down different levels. Let me tell you, don't ever let me do that again! The platforms are so... sensitive? for lack of a better word. They have a myriad bugs, if you create a wall in the wrong place they just delete everything and you have to start again. That sunken platform for the lower level was madness. I did have a lot of fun building this, even though it made me a bit crazy a couple of times and I think I have fully figured out the bugs and kinks and next time it won't be such a pain.
Anyway here we have a mall, that was built on the ruins of [insert ancient building name]. It is set as a restaurant because restaurants don't work otherwise. It has a nice cafe, a clothing store (with those get famous thingies that allow you to change into costumers), an ice cream shop, an indoor community garden, a museum, a food court, a bar, a wedding venue, and a functional observatory and bridge! What more can you ask? Maybe a Christmas version? You got it! I'm presenting this lot with both options, a regular one for the entire year and a Xmas one (it's just a couple of decorations here and there). So you can choose which one you want.
Recommended mods are the usual, Auto-employees above all to fill all those thingies.
