Risky Woohoo & Try For Baby Chances
You usually have the option to quietly choose whether you want your Sim to have a safe "Woohoo" with a partner, or to try to have a baby and get pregnant right away. But in real life it doesn't work that way. Modder PolarBearSims came up with some tricks to make in-game sex more exciting, replacing it with a complex fertility system that affects all Sims.
Depending on the reproductive rate, location, and some other factors, some Sims will be more likely to get pregnant by accident than others. Sims can also become infertile and require special treatment to get pregnant.
So what does this mod do?
You get the chance of pregnancy with regular Woohoo. However, this is a little more than just adding pregnancy odds to the game. This will increase or decrease abilities based on the Sim's traits.
What this basically means is that this risky WooHoo is based on the Sim's chances of using some sort of defense during the WooHoo. They are based on Sims traits. Depending on the specifics, this can either increase the percentage from a small amount to a large amount, or reduce the chances of the same. For example: out of 3 generations, I had 2 Sims who didn't seem to care that they "accidentally" got pregnant due to lack of protection, while my 3rd Sim was very careful and never got pregnant by accident with woo-hoo.
Things you will find in this mod:
- Pregnancy buffs for teens
- Woohoo changed to "Risky Woohoo"
- Possible infertility
- Possible pregnancy difficulties
- All sims will have a different fertility level
- Increase in chances based on location
- Variety of flavors for each category
- Pregnancy test with woohoo/risky woohoo
- Decrease in chances based on location
- Age groups have different fertility levels
- Wishing well, fertility message and fertility is not always a guarantee pregnancy
- 100% isn't always a guarantee pregnancy
- Certain traits will either increase or decrease risky woohoo chances
Teen Pregnancy Buffs:
Basically all it will do is add pregnancy buffs to your female teen Sim. Without it, your teen will have no buffs, so if you miss the "meal for two" broadcast upstairs or fail a pregnancy test, a teen's pregnancy will be a surprise until their tummy starts to grow.
