In DNF Duel, battles take place in 8 arenas. Among the available locations are Moon Tavern, Zelva, Sacred Horn, Hendon World, Submarine Express, Ghent Golden City, Ruins, Sky Tower. There are 16 characters with unique abilities to choose from. Each of them has its own class: berserker, assassin, ranger, sorceress, and so on. All fighters feel completely different. You can enable Chinese, Korean or Japanese voice acting for them. All heroes and heroines have their own stories. You can follow their development in the Story Mode. In addition to it, there is Arcade, Survival, Training, Training and Free Fight. Online multiplayer has regular and ranked matches. The ability to play together on one PC is also available. There is also a gallery, a library of replays and a glossary.
