Update 2.7 for Genshin Impact: highlights from the presentation

miHoYo is finally ready to reveal the 2.7 update for Genshin Impact. The release of the update was delayed - for the first time in the history of the game - due to the lockdown in Shanghai and led to the postponement of the release of all subsequent updates.

Update 2.7 will be released on May 31st and maintenance will normally take around five hours. After the release of the update, players will be compensated for the last time for the delay in its release.

A new character, Ye Lan is a 5-star rarity archer who specializes in dealing hydro damage. Ye Lan is able to shoot with a rope that first confuses opponents and then explodes. She can also summon a familiar that also deals hydro damage.

A new character, Kouki Shinobu is a swordswoman with 4 stars of rarity, deals electro damage. Cookie is Arataka Itto's assistant, she can create areas in which opponents and enemies receive electro damage. If Cookie's health drops, she gets bonuses.

Kuki Shinobu will have a date quest to learn more about the character.

Ye Lan will enter the first banner, Cookie the second . The composition of the banners itself is as follows:

• Ye Lan + Xiao (5 rarity stars each).
• Arataki Itto (5 stars of rarity) + Kouki Shinobu (4 stars of rarity).

New weapon, Aqua Simulacrum . This is a bow with five stars of rarity, the damage of which increases depending on whether there is an enemy nearby.
