About Drizzt Do'Urden

Drizzt Do’Urden is arguably the greatest hero to grace the Forgotten Realms D&D universe. Created by R. A. Salvatore in
1988 for his Icewind Dale trilogy, Drizzt is a ranger and a formidable swordsman, he is a Dark Drow Elf. Dark Drow Elves are usually distrusted (with good reason) by all other races. Drizzt, however, is compassionate, a rare quality among the Drow, and he doesn’t
glory in murder. This creates many challenges for him, as he seeks
to break away from the traditions of his kind.

D&D Playing Table

This mod aims to bring Drizzt Do'Urden's gear set to the BG3 playing table.
All Drizzt's gear has been set up as close as possible with his 5e D&D character sheet stats.

Game Balance

NOTE: Stats may not match the character sheet exactly due to re-balancing for BG3 gameplay.
Matching up exact 5e D&D Drizzt weapon stats would over power your character dramatically.
Any +Attack bonuses have not been included with this mod.

Drizzt's Gear Set

                                              Icingdeath: A very rare magical Scimitar, Drizzt's main hand weapon.

Guenhwyvar: A figurine of wondrous power carved from onyx. Summons Drizzt's large cat companion.

Glacial Brilliance

Glacial Brilliance is a term I came up with for the light/glow effect which Icingdeath possesses.
When activated, (Needs to be in the main hand) Icingdeath will glow with a magical glacial aura, and shed light in all directions.
This effect will last for 20 turns, then Icingdeath will go back to its normal status.
NOTE: (As per actual 5e rules this does not put out non-magical flames, but I'm looking into it)

Alternatively, Icingdeath's aura can be toggled on or off at any time to give a magical visual effect.
Note: This is a visual effect only! It does not shed light. It's simply a cosmetic visual effect option for the player.
Once turned on, it will last until a long rest, or until its manually turned off.

Gear Location

Find all Drizzt's gear in a chest when you first start a new game.  
The Cartilaginous Chest (AKA Tutorial Chest) in the dead end room of Mind Flayer ship, the one with the health potion,
holds all Drizzt Do'Urden's items from this mod.

Install

See below for a few different install methods available for popular Mod Managers used for Baldur's Gate 3. 
Also, manual install methods have been included. Please choose the method that is right for you.

Note: There are no loose files install methods for this mod.

Method 1 - VORTEX:  (Use Vortex to install automatically)

Method 2 - BG3 ModManager:  

1. Extract the archive.
2. Copy paste the .pak file into C:\Users\YourPCName\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods
3. Open BG3 Mod Manager and drag the mod from the right window to the left window.
4. Click the "Export Order To Game" button (this writes the mod settings)
5. Install complete, start your game

Method 3 - MANUAL:

1. Extract the archive.
2. Copy the .pak file from the extracted archive.
3. Paste into: C:\Users\(Your PC Name)\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods
4. Navigate to: PlayerProfiles\[Profile Name]\modsettings.lsx
5. Open modsettings.lsx with your notepad or similar app.
6. Make sure your modsettings look like this: NOTE - These lines can be copied from below

7. Save the file
8. Install complete, Enjoy!
