Reading Custom Preference  

This preference mod was a request and once I saw that request, I wondered how in the world this was not an already available base game preference feature?!? I mean, when you think of major hobbies, reading is right up there as the topmost loved or hated hobby amongst so many! Well, now your Sims can either love or not stand to be able to read books, any books!

You can either select Reading as a like or dislike in CAS as you can with any other preference, or a popup will activate when your Sims try to read a book from a bookcase. Remember that the following XML Injector mod is required for this, and all of my preference mods, to work.

Preference Buffs

Here are some of the buffs you can expect with this mod when you Sim either likes or dislikes reading:

Reading Books Is Fantastic! (Happy +2) – Losing oneself in a good book is the best use of time according to your Sim! The only thing better, is reading another book.

I Really Hate Reading! (Tense +2) – Your Sim hates having to read more than they have to. Books are only good as paperweights, according to your Sim.
